57010 with 2 KUA Nuclear Flask Wagons & 2 Escort Coaches head north at 10:33am on a 6X50 09:35 Keyham (Devonport Dockyard) to Carlisle Kingmoor. These workings normally run overnight due to the sensitive nature of the working, but trackwork problems the previous night delayed the departure until the following morning. Following the failure of 57603 on the previous nights up sleeper at Penzance, a HST was used on the sleepers. 57604 was attached to the rear of the down sleeper at Paddington to hitch a ride to Penzance. At 14:01, 57604 towing failed 57603 with the sleepers head north through Totnes on the: 5Z70 11:00 Longrock to Old Oak Common. Thursday 28th October 2010.
Due to engineering work to the west of Plymouth, the Cornish based RHTT couldn't treat the Devon Banks, so the Bristol based RHTT was used. 66067 Top & Tailed with 66077 head north on the: 3S58 08:00 Barton Hill to Barton Hill via Plymouth.
